Chic Eligible Bachelor: Shawn Cruz

Fashionista Investment: Flats

So every fashionista has a ton of heels, but who wants to wear them all day!? As you know the search for a good flat can be as hard as finding the right nude lipstick that suits you! So search for comfort & versatility because a good flat is an investment! It serves for interviews, mall runs, toning down a look and great with a cigarette jean! Now I've found two amazing pairs, one of them being Tory Burch. Now as a fashionista I'm against the purchasing of Tory Burch flats! I think people are paying for that gold emblem because besides that it's just a ballerina flat. But these are a tad different and possibly worth the investment!

Are You Team Natural?

As an African-American I've grown up seeing women with all textures of hair! However I'm a fan of the long sleek look! Team Natural has never been something I've loved! Until recently, I've found out that you can achieve the same look as a perm with a good flat iron! But than the question is well why go natural than? My mother recently took the perm out & went natural and I physically see the strength in her hair and the texture come back alive! But Is the natural look (dreads, Afro, curly) professional? Or are you just going to stick with your perm? And what do majority of men prefer? All these things play a factor but when it comes to your hair only you know what's right for you. So are you team natural?

Flower Power

As you know it's completely about the floral print! Now I'm not a fan of the floral print tops, at least not for me because I look like an extra from Hawaii 5 0!!! However, the flower print bottoms rock, either skirt, pants or shorts! They add color to wardrobe and they often leave room for you to take it easy with the rest of the ensemble! But for the more daring fashionista I would try them with a polka dot or leopard top simply because I adore mixing prints! These ones below are amazing from Zara online! They're $80 and can be dressed up or down! And p.s. they're perfection with that strappy shoe we discussed last week!

Are We Really Dressing For MEN?

When it's time to head out & we are searching for an outfit, who exactly are we dressing for? I mean it's my belief that we want to say the guys. But, in my heart I'm feeling like its for the other women! Think about it, do the men really care if your stiletto is cap toe, peep, or pointy! And does it matter if you wear the gold link necklace or the multi color bib necklace? HELL NO! Ladies we are dressing to upstage these bitches in the clubs, workplace, campus, concerts and anywhere else we may see a fellow fashionista with a subscription to ELLE! We are setting out to impress them and show them that they have NOTHING on us, or our devotion to FASHION! In my mind we only dress for men in the bedroom! When we swipe our card at Nordstrom on those new shoes, our brain is saying "Now let's see her top this! Ha!" So who do you think you're dressing for?

His Penis Is Just Too Small?

So girls, I know that we all like to be classy but... Let's dish! Have you guys ever found the cutest, most funny, intelligent, swagger filled guy of your life & you knew he was about to get the chummy chummy( my word for ass or vagina) & he whipped it out & POW, its teeny tiny? What are we supposed to do? Well here is my take! If he's worth it in your eyes, test it out, maybe he's small & knows just how to work it! If not, and you still feel tempted test his oral skills and maybe include some toys in the mix! But what shall we do if he cums wayyyyy too fast? Well, if his penis is small & he's a premature brother! Send him to the next fashionista, because as I said before if a girl loves a long heel, she just needs a long dick to match!

Does Beauty Really Have A Skin Tone?

Does anyone often wonder what the standard of beauty is? Do guys go after the lighter skinned girl with the naturally long hair? I mean when I hear rap songs with the lines "yellow bad bitch" does that mean if shes not light she isn't beautiful? Or have you ever asked someone "is she pretty?" and they reply "Yeah she's light skin & has long hair"! But does that mean she's beautiful? My belief is that all women have beauty within them but some men have a preference, a darker skinned girl is just as beautiful as the lighter skinned girl to me. And I often wonder does this cause an unconscious rift between friends with two different skin tones, does one feel inferior to the other? Or when both go out who gets more guys hitting on them? I have so many girlfriends of all shades and they all have their own beauty. But are light skinned girls with long hair the replacement for the white woman with the blonde hair & blue eyes. I mean look at who's successful Rihanna & Beyonce both are light, yet Kelly Rowland is just as beautiful & more talented and has a fraction of the success! So my question is when it comes to men does beauty really have a skin tone?
